We at Aphelion, LLC (“Aphelion”) know that privacy is a major concern of visitors to the www.mynextdance.com Web site (“Site”). This Privacy Policy describes the personal information we collect on this Site, how we use it, and when we share it with third parties.
Please read below all the elements of our Privacy Policy. By using this Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy and to the Terms of Use governing its use. Collection of Personally Identifiable Information
The type and amount of information requested depends on what you are seeking, i.e., registering for the survey, requesting our newsletter or articles, providing demographic data on the survey, or registering to be an affiliate of Aphelion (“Affiliate”). Personal information is gathered when you register. During registration, we ask for your name and email address, a user name and password. Additional information may include your age, gender, title, telephone number, company, and work address - if applicable. If you ask for the Next Dance Newsletter alone, or for specific offerings, such as articles, only your email is requested.
If you take the Retirement Exploration Survey, we record your responses to the survey items and ask for your name, telephone, and email address, and demographic data such as gender and age. However, with the exception of your name and email address, the demographic data is optional.

For research purposes, your survey responses and demographic information are retained in our database, unless you specifically indicate you do not want us to retain your information for this reason. In all cases, once the survey report has been generated, personally identifiable data is removed, such that the survey and demographic information you provide cannot be attributed to you. Retained survey and demographic data are used by Aphelion alone for research purposes.
If you choose not to allow Aphelion to retain your survey data for research purposes, all survey related data, including your survey report (with the exception of your name and email address), is purged from the system within 60 days from the time your results are made available to you to download or from the time a hardcopy is mailed to you. This gives you time to download the report, and to share it with others should you choose to do so. Report data will be used only for your own purposes or as you may choose, for example, sharing it with an advisor. After your report is finished, all of your personal data will be removed.

All survey reports are deleted from the system 60 days after being made available to the purchaser. If you give us permission to keep your survey data, information that makes it attributable to you will be removed at the 60-day point, and it will no longer be identifiable as belonging to you from that point on.

Automatic Collection of Information
We use automatic methods such as cookies (small amounts of data, which often include an anonymous unique identifier that is sent to your browser from a Site’s computer and stored on your computer’s hard drive) alone or in combination with personally identifiable information you choose to provide us, to make our Site work better, to understand Site usage and trends, deliver a more personalized experience and to improve our content and offerings. Examples of the information we collect and analyze using such methods include, the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; email address; login name and password; type and version, operating system, and platform; purchase history, which we may aggregate with similar information from other customers; the full Uniform Resource Locator (URL) clickstream to, on, and from our Site, including date and time; cookie information; products or services you viewed or searched for; and your purchase history. We may also use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page.

If you do not want information collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allows the user to accept or reject cookies. Please note that if you set your browser not to accept cookies, you may not be able to take advantage of certain services on our Site.

We do not transfer cookies associated with our Site to any other company, nor do we authorize any other company to access the cookies we have placed on your computer’s hard drive. We may allow other companies that are partnering with us or providing services on our pages to set and access cookies on your computer. Those companies’ use of cookies will be covered by their own privacy policies, not ours. We urge you to read their privacy policies prior to sharing any personal information with them.

Security Precautions
Other than the administrator of the mynextdance.com site, or other authorized Aphelion, LLC personnel, you are the only person who has access to your personal information. Your user registration is password-protected to prevent unauthorized access.
We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. We will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or in an unsolicited email. As an extra security precaution, you may want to logoff once you have completed a session on the mynextdance. com site.

Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online - for example in listings that you post or through email - that information can be collected and used by others. In short, if you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. Ultimately, you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and/or any account information. Please be careful and responsible whenever you’re online.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, Aphelion, LLC/Next Dance cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or information accessible to you from our site, e.g., the report derived from the Retirement Exploration Survey, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems. With regard to the survey and associated report, they can be administered and delivered as hard copy through the mail versus online should you have concerns about the online security of your information.

Your Choices
If you choose not to register or provide personal information, you can still use most of the Site, but you will not be able to access areas or use features that require registration, such as the Retirement Exploration Survey and Next Dance newsletter.

Information Access and Changing Preferences
We will provide you with the means to ensure that your personal information is correct and current. You may edit or delete your user profile at any time by clicking on the “my account” link or graphic provided by the system once you are logged in. Once you have logged onto the system during a given session, wherever you go on the Site, your information will stay with you until close your browser or you click on the “logoff” link, which is accessible from within the “my account ” screen.

If you are a previously registered user and you have lost or forgotten your password and/or your user name, you may obtain it by email by using our “Forgot Password” feature. Click the button on any login page to request that your password be emailed to you. We cannot provide your password by any other means.

To “opt-out” means that you have notified Aphelion that we no longer have permission to use your information for a specific purpose. For example, when we send you information on product offerings, you will be given the opportunity to “opt-out” of receiving such information in the future. You will also have the option of having your contact information, i.e., your user account, removed entirely from our database so that you will no longer be contacted for any reason.

Sharing Your Information
Your name, email address, and demographic data are not shared with anyone outside of the Aphelion staff or official contractors/vendors, e.g., our web site consultants. Any party doing work with us, including partners, employee and contractors/vendors, is required to sign and abide by a confidentially agreement that protects all users from the inappropriate distribution and use of their personal information.

If you take the Retirement Exploration Survey to be used on your own, only you have access to the results, i.e., the Your Next Dance Review. You are provided with a confidential code that allows you to access your report online. If you are working with an advisor or coach, and want them to have access to your report, it is up to you to share the code with them to allow them access to your report. If you take the Retirement Exploration Survey as part of a workshop, you will be asked to provide the facilitator with your access code, which will help them prepare for the session - but that is optional on your part.

As a general rule, Aphelion will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information except when we have your permission, or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it or under the circumstances described in the next paragraph.
We may disclose account information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating the Terms of Service of the Site or may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) the rights or property of Aphelion, other users of the Site, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. Aphelion may disclose or access account information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it and for administrative and other purposes that we deem necessary to maintain, service, and improve our products and services. Under no circumstances will survey information be shared.

As time passes, Aphelion may be sold along with its assets, or other transactions may occur in which customer information is one of the business assets transferred. In such a case, the customer information which we have gathered may be one of the business assets we transfer.
Except as provided above, we will not share any of your information with any third party without your permission. Aphelion will not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to others for promotional purposes. None of the personal information collected is made accessible to the general public

Use of Information
Aphelion does research on our users’ interests, needs, concerns, behaviors, and demographics, based on the information provided to us when you register, request information, navigate the website, or take the Retirement Exploration Survey. The specific response data from the survey are only used for research when permission has been granted by you to do so. As mentioned earlier, these data are stripped of any personally identifying information before being entered into the database and employed in the research. Our research compiles and analyzes data on an aggregated basis and does not include personally identifiable information. My Next Dance may share this aggregated data with others, such as our Affiliates.

Our research helps us make our site as useful to you as possible. We are also interested in providing you with new and updated products and services as soon as they are available. Therefore, we may send you direct mailings or email alerts about our various products and services we feel may be of interest to you. If you do not want to receive such mailings, simply “opt-out” by the means provided for (if any) in the mailings or by contacting info@mynextdance.com.

When you engage our for-fee services, we use your financial information, to include credit card information, to verify the accuracy of your name, address, and other associated information. This information is also used to bill you for the products or services you use.
From time to time we may also share your information with agents, contractors, or business partners who perform services for us including, but not limited to, aspects of our web site support and maintenance, emailings, and user purchases and requests.

The Site provides links to third party web sites, that Aphelion does not own and/or operate. Please be aware that this Privacy Policy does not extend to any web sites other than those owned and controlled by Aphelion. Aphelion has no responsibility or liability for the independent policies or information collection practices on these sites. Content displayed from links to other sites do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Aphelion. We encourage you to be aware of this when your leave our Site and to read the privacy policies of every website that collects personally identifiable information from you.

Use by Children
Mynextdance.com is a general audience web site, designed for adults. Aphelion restricts the use of this Site to those 18 years of age or older. Should it come to our attention that a user is younger than 18, and has posted information on the Site, the information will be deleted immediately, and the person posting the information will have his/her access to the Site terminated.

Your use of the Site, including any dispute concerning privacy, is subject to this Privacy Policy and Terms of Service including limitations on damages and application of the law of the State of Rhode Island.
